The reason I wake up and get going every single day? Good stories! Funny, inspiring, heart-breaking, activating... I want to write and read them all. Preferably with a cat curled on my lap and a cappuccino in my hand, but a bench on the Charles River Esplanade (in summertime), or a desk at the Cambridge Public Library works fine too!
However, stories should not only be written or read, but also lived. And so, my husband Tjeerd and I moved from Utrecht, the Netherlands, to Boston on April 20, 2017. Not surprisingly, it has been a lovely adventure so far - exploring our new surroundings and meeting new people. We are having a blast making ourselves at home in Beantown and living the story of our life!
